Facebook and Twitter

The website of my preference would be Facebook followed by the Twitter. Both of these sites offer me an unbridled sense of liberation from the pangs of neglect bestowed upon my friends due to the unsocial work schedules practiced for the past so many years. These medi ums have allowed me to multitask my social life along with my rigorous schedules rejuvenating many a strained relationships .The opportunity to share moments and feeling regardless of the physical presence leads to the realization that the world is indeed a global village. The multifarious uses that these mediums can be subjected to increases their charm.

Lifelong Healthy Eater

If I could do anything over again, I would change the way that I ate for the first 20 years of my life. I was always overweight as a child, mostly due to the fact that I ate too many unhealthy and fatty foods. Now that I have gotten my weight under control and I have incredibly healthy eating habits, I wish that I could have known these things when I was younger. I would have been healthier and happier and it would have made my life at the time so much easier. I am glad that I am able to enjoy a healthy and happy lifestyle now, but if I could do it over again I would have started living this life when I was much younger.

A Semester of Misery

The hardest thing I ever had to do was go to school at a college that I absolutely hated for an entire semester. I realized about two days after arriving to college that I hated the school I had chosen. I knew that it wasn’t for me and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Unfortunately, I had to go for an entire semester before I was able to transfer and I spent nearly every minute of that semester in misery. I was away from home in a place that I hated and there was nothing I could do about it. I do think the experience made me stronger, but during that time it was absolutely terrible.

Shopping Heaven

Probably my favorite activity ever is shopping. I could go shopping every single day if I had the time and money. Shopping is truly a stress reliever for me even when I don’t buy anything. I find something about looking at clothes, shoes and jewelry to be very relaxing. I typically go shopping four to five times per week and I typically visit two or more malls or shopping centers each day. A majority of the time, I don’t buy anything, but I do tend to get good deals when I do buy something because I always know when the sales are and when something is worth the advertised price.

Leave it to the Woman of the House

My husband and I just recently bought a house together. It’s a pretty big step for a newlywed couple. As he seems to think that the majority of our money should go toward replacing the floor, buying a lawnmower, and re-painting the wall color, I personally think a good chunk of our money should go toward some attractive and appealing metal wall art. Graduating with an art major in college, I probably have a greater appreciation for aesthetically pleasing metal wall art than my radiologist husband, but as a woman, I know that guests notice this kind of stuff. In my opinion, he can choose which kind of metal wall art goes in the “man cave,” but the rest of the house décor is up to me.

Water Cooler Mishap

The funniest thing that I have ever seen happened during one of my dance classes when I was about 12 or 13 years old. One of my friends was doing some turns across the floor and must not have been looking where she was going because she ended up slamming into the water cooler in the corner, knocking the five gallon jug off the top and sending it flying through the air. It truly felt as though the world was in slow motion as the jug went flying and water was spilling out all over the floor. My friend was trying to catch the jug to minimize the lake forming on the floor and everyone else was positively frozen and unable to do anything. It was hilarious watching her slip and slide all over the wet floor trying to pick up the jug and return it to the cooler.

Home Décor Ideas

Home decor can make the inside of your house look pleasing to the eye; home decor is basically decorations on the inside of your house to make it look nice. Some examples of home decor would be; Nice furnishing, including very lavish chairs and couches. Also a nice fireplace could make the inside of your house look pleasing to the eye. One more example of home decor could possibly be bronze butterfly metal wall art. Beautiful paintings and pictures on the walls add a good touch to the home decor. Any of these examples can make the inside of your home look lavish and warm. Everything will look a lot better inside of your home with beautiful home decor.

Brain Surgery Survivor

Last week, I had an incredibly eventful week because I had to be admitted to the hospital to have brain surgery. I have known that I needed this surgery for about nine months and last week the time finally came to have it done. I spent 5 days in the hospital before I was able to go home. While the first few days were very difficult and I couldn’t even get out of bed for more than three days, since then I have been improving rapidly and almost can’t believe that my surgery was only a week ago. My surgery has really proven to me just how incredible modern medicine is because all of the symptoms I had been having have completely resolved since the surgery.

My Beloved MacBook Pro

The most expensive thing that I have ever purchased on my own was by MacBook Pro that I purchased prior to starting medical school. I had been lusting after it for several years before I actually had the opportunity to buy it. My computer cost around $1800 and it was worth every cent. It is easy to use and it does everything that expected it to. Additionally, I received a free printer and a free iPod when I purchased it, which was a great bonus. I have now had my MacBook for a year and have not regretted spending that much money on it for a single second.

Someday I Will Have a Range Rover

My ultimate dream car would be a brand new black Range Rover. I have wanted a Range Rover for over five years now and someday when I have money I will definitely buy one. I am definitely a fan of SUVs because I live in an area of the country that is very snowy during the winter months. I feel much safer in a large vehicle and would never have a small car as my primary vehicle. I have had several different types of SUVs, but if I had the choice I would have a Range Rover because I think it is so incredibly sleek looking and I would feel awesome driving it.
